The Telinga
EM23PIP-type 2 is the same as above, but with measurments
making it suitable also for use in parabols. It runs on Plug In Power, but a version for 48v Phantom power is also available. With an optional cable, two EM23-PIP's can be used for AB stereo. |
| A common disadvantage with Plug-In-Power microphones, is that they don't provide a base filter. The Telinga EM23 does this in a unique way: Connected into a common miniDAT or MD, the EM23 will feed one channel with a full range signal and the other one with a base filtered signal. This saves the recording from being distorted by wind |
